Our approach

Assessment and Psychological Services
We conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges to help in developing tailored intervention and educational plans. We provide goal-oriented, individual and group counseling to students facing various challenges, such as academic difficulties, social issues, or emotional struggles.
Consultation and Advocacy
Collaboration is key. We work closely with teachers and parents to share insights from assessments, discuss strategies for supporting students, and foster a collaborative approach to a child's overall well-being.

Kayla Clarkson., M.A, LSSP, NCSP.
Special education has been a life-long passion for Kayla. She received her bachelors of arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Special Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Kayla spent a year in the classroom teaching in a diverse early childhood classroom in Austin, Texas before returning to The University of Texas at San Antonio to complete her Master’s in School Psychology. Kayla has been practicing in Texas schools since 2020. She is passionate about legally defensible and user-friendly evaluations, evidence-based interventions and counseling, finding solutions for teachers and administrators, and advocacy for students.
